2027: Na’Allah Says He Remains in APC, Will Consider His Constituents’ Choice
By The Analyst News Desk
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, former Senator Suleiman Abdu-Quadir Na’Allah has declared that he remains a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), while indicating that his political support will ultimately be guided by the preference of his constituents.
Na’Allah, who represented Kebbi South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, made the position known while speaking on the political developments ahead of the 2027 elections.
The former lawmaker said his continued membership of the APC does not necessarily mean that his political decisions in 2027 would be determined solely by party affiliation.
According to him, the wishes and interests of his people would remain a major consideration in deciding where to channel his political support.
“I am still in the APC, but I will support the party my people want,” Na’Allah said.
His remarks have added a fresh dimension to the political calculations ahead of the 2027 elections, particularly as politicians across the country reassess their alliances and the strength of party structures at the grassroots.
Na’Allah's statement also underscores the growing importance of constituency sentiment in Nigeria's evolving political landscape, where political actors are increasingly expected to balance party loyalty with the demands and expectations of their supporters.
With the 2027 elections approaching, the former senator's position is likely to attract attention within the APC and among opposition parties, particularly in his political stronghold in Kebbi State.
For now, however, Na’Allah has made his position clear: he remains in the APC, but his political support in 2027 will be determined by the choice of his people.
