The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, on Tuesday joined the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and other distinguished leaders at the commissioning of the Muhammadu Buhari Estate and Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The commissioning of the landmark projects underscores the growing emphasis on strategic investments in housing and healthcare infrastructure as part of broader efforts to improve the welfare and quality of life of Nigerians.

The Muhammadu Buhari Estate is expected to contribute to efforts to expand access to decent and modern housing, while the Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence is designed to strengthen the delivery of quality healthcare services and improve access to specialised medical care in Ogun State and the wider region.

Speaking on the significance of the development, the presence of Professor Pate at the commissioning reflects the Federal Government's commitment to strengthening collaboration with state governments and other stakeholders in advancing Nigeria's healthcare transformation agenda.
