Bauchi Secures $91.6 Million EBID Financing for 24 Road, Bridge Projects

BAUCHI — Bauchi State has secured a US$91.6 million financing package from the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) to execute 24 strategic road and bridge projects aimed at improving infrastructure and accelerating economic development across the state.

Announcing the development, Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, described the financing as a major milestone in his administration's drive to modernize the state's transport infrastructure and promote inclusive economic growth.

According to the governor, the projects will significantly improve connectivity between communities, strengthen the state's transport network, facilitate the movement of people and agricultural produce, expand access to markets, and unlock new economic opportunities for businesses and rural communities.
